Vinous Neal Martin - 17 Jan 24
The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a mixture of blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose, focused and quite mineral-driven, yet perfectly in control. The palate has a lovely elegant entry and very fine tannins, the 55% whole bunches very well assimilated and imparting a light peppery note on the finish. Superb.

Chambolle-Musigny Vineyard Fine Wine

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
